Hi, I’m Sarah Honeyman and I am your Parent Support Advisor at Bluebell Primary School.

My role is to support you as parents and carers to help you and your children gain as much as possible from their time at school.

Parenting isn’t an easy job and as a mother myself to two boys I have first-hand experience of the challenges parenting can bring us. I know all too well the difficulties and stresses families face, juggling work with childcare and everyday life.  Finances are often stretched to the limit.  Placing routines and boundaries can certainly be challenging and I myself haven’t managed to get it right on several occasions!

I am here to help you deal with any worries or concerns you have about your child and to help you tackle any home issues that are making school life really difficult for you and your family.  I can refer you to further specialist agencies or support services if you wish.  I also help support families with any attendance issues at school.

We love parents and carers coming into school, Mrs Plowman and I host a Coffee Morning every half term where parents and carers can join us to chat about what’s going on in school and meet other parents.

​

I am in school every Monday - Thursday and I will often be on the school playground in the morning and afternoon. Please contact the school if you require any support or just an informal chat, alternatively you can send me a message on Class Dojo and I can arrange to meet you.
